Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
As the Christmas Holiday begins, we think of family and friends. We also think about our courageous men and women in our military and all their sacrifices. We continue to pray for their safe return home to their families.
This year at our Christmas table we will welcome my son Von III future bride Tiffany and the Guillaume Family.
This will be a wonderful addition to our family tree. They are planning their wedding on November 10, 2012.
We will also be missing at our table, my parents and family that are up in New England and my nieces and their families in Colorado and Beijing China.
I would like to extend to my business associates, clients, family and friends a wonderful Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and a safe and healthy New Year.

A SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES
Today is a special day to thank all our veterans who have
served or continue to serve to protect our freedoms and our way of life. Our
prayers are also with the families of veterans that have been injured or gave
their lives for our country. It's important we continue to thank and support
all that served throughout the year, not just on Veterans Day.

On Wednesday July 6th at 6:30PM, the Safety Harbor Boat Club will have an open house and presentation on preparing your boat against the threat of a hurricane and tidal surge. The event will be held at the Safety Harbor Public Library 101 2nd Street North in meeting rooms A & B. Admission is free.
Can you answer the following questions?
How many arrests have been made at the marina during a storm?
Can your boat sink in the marina?
Two insurance companies shared with us the reasons for severe damage and sinking of the boats in the marina, do you know what they are?
A storm anchor only holds in winds up to 42 knots…what do you do?
Do you know why you will not be able to get to your boat in the marina during a storm?
Why you will need $200.00 in ones?
The answers to these questions and many more will be discussed. If you also have a friend or neighbor that has a boat, invite them to the meeting. Refreshments will be available.

Do you want to be part of a club that is celebrating it's 10th year of promoting safe boating, neighborly conduct, training classes, and family orientated social gatherings?
The Safety Harbor Boat Club (SHBC) is for you and your family. It's open to all persons. SHBC prides itself on being a club for novices and seasoned experts alike.
It is not necessary to own a boat, be a resident of Safety Harbor, or be a member of any other organization to join SHBC. The only requirement for Club membership is that members enjoy boating in any form. Sailboats, power boats, dinghies, kayaks, rowboats, and pedal boats are all equally welcome.
Monthly meetings are at the Safety Harbor Public Library on the 1ST Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM. They are casual, with only the necessary minimum Rules of Order used to dictate procedure. Only dues paying members are allowed to vote, but non-members are encouraged to attend.
